Wow! Seriously? Do "show quality" roosters really go for that much money? How could that be worth it?

maybe? wow i Wouldn't pay that much for a ROO. but idk, i mean, i havent even seen peafowl for That much $$$! maybe they are just asking that much cuz they figure some uneducated person will pay it? theres a guy around here to put out to horse ppl that he kept the "quality hay" in the back, it was the same as the rest but he charged twice as much for it, and the horse ppl bought it. some ppl have the mentality that if it costs more it must be worth more?

Someone else posted this. Is there a really a white breed? My DH would change the locks on the house and coop if I spent that much on a chicken.

If its feathers are tipped in black, then its not a 'white americauna (araucana)' anyway.

Since they obviously don't know which breed they even have and have posted two different breed names, then described a non-standard color (whites do not have black tipped feathers), they are trying to sell an Easter Egger for a ridiculous price.
