Two days ago my chicken laid her first egg and it was very large 102 gram today she laid an egg that was even bigger at 108 grams. This one had been pecked at and had a little hole so I knew I would have to cook it and to my surprise what came out was a yolk and another complete smaller egg. When I cracked the second egg interestingly the yolks were the same size. So now I'm wondering will the first egg be another egg within an egg? I've read this is supposed to be rare but who knows?
