Are we talking within the US only? State to State? City, State to City, State? County, State to County, State?

My guess is Arostook County, Maine to LA County, California.
If someone shipped out of country it would work too. The prize is a book of US stamps, which might not be too good of a prize for a foreign country though.

The contest is for those that have eggs shipped to them not guessing the farthest.

Will you have eggs shipped to you?

Probably not. But I may just get eggs shipped from CT or CA. Deleted my post.

It is likely a good shipping hub. Atlanta seems to be a bad one, or at least it was several years ago.
I'm iffy about buying from the same breeder again. All his chicks died in 6 days from some random neurological thing :( Rates went up for fewer eggs. Not sure it's worth it.

that is sad!

I do hope you find a place with better breeding stock. Is it possible that the flock was wormed too close to collecting the eggs? There is one that will cause issues with hatched chicks.

I think so. I can't think of anything but some management issue that would have done it.

Sorry to hijack this thread
