10wk old he or she maybe RIR or not please help?

Where were they from? Rose Comb Rhode Island Red are rare and pretty unlikely, but they do exist from a few small breeders. Having raised the heritage RC RIR in the past, they do not look to be that. The chicks doesn't have as a deep of red as one of the true heritage ones so I would lean heavily away from that assumption, along with lacking the brick body type and red wash down leg fronts. 1-Production Red mix, possibly with Wyandotte, 2-Production Red

Thank you. Where I got my eggs from had a mix of pure breds but all free ranging together.
The breeds were
Araucana
Plymouth Rock
Rhode island Red
White Leghorn
ISA Brown

To have a rose comb, I am pretty sure one of the parents must have it... I could be wrong, but I believe there must be another possible breed.

They are both the same dark deep red but the photos of the second one are in the sun and appear a little lighter...

I'm going to ask the lady I got the eggs from again tomorrow to see if she maybe missed out a breed... thanks again for you help
