Hi there! We have an unexpected cockerel, and I am looking for a home for him. He was purchased at TSC as a sapphire sky pullet, of which he is neither. I can only make a guess as to what he potentially is: Ameraucana (McMurray), Americana (Townline) or an EE. It all just depends on how he landed in that bin. He is going to be a really pretty boy, but we already have 2 cockerels, and a potential 3rd. We are located just south of 69 between Lansing and Flint.

He's very handsome!
Unfortunately one of my EE 'pullets' from TSC is looking very boyish too, so your boy can't come here.
And will you be coming to our pot luck 'Chickenstock' on June 28th? Maybe someone there will be interested, and it's a fun gathering every year.

Unfortunately, no I have prior plans that day. I only recently joined this forum and when I saw there was a meetup I was a little bummed. The location isn't real far from home so fingers crossed for next year.

Ohhh, I WISH that I could take him! What a looker!
Tell your friends! :) He is very attentive to the ladies already (although just practicing I am sure), and seems to look out for them. He is always watching, and the moment one of them squawks he is on his way. He has been cordial to me and other two legged friends. I know its to soon to tell since he is still maturing, but so far so good. If I had a larger number of pullets/hens, I would be keeping him.

He found a new home!
