11 week old silkie

So what did it turn out to be? Do you know yet?

We are pretty positive they are both roos. They haven't crowed, but have started getting streamers and their combs have gotten a bit bigger. We just ordered 5 silkie pullets from MPC and they are due to hatch 4-2.

Red combs in silkies = poor breeding, doesn't look to have black skin either. What colors are legs and feet? Beak should be black also

both of their combs are getting more of that mulberry color to them as they grow out. One has that lighter color on his beak, but the others is black. They both have black skin...all the way down to their toenails. When they open their beaks and you can see in their mouths...it too is black. The one pictured is the only one who has that light spot on the tip of its beak. We aren't wanting show quality anyway. All of our chickens are just for pets. I wouldn't have just ordered 5 pullets from MCP if we wanted to show LOL
