As always...I’m late hahaha. I just added 6 chicken eggs to my bator...maybe they’ll hatch early

I haven't been on here in a few years, but I put eggs in Saturday so figured I would comment. I have chocolate cuckoo orpington, mille fleur cochin, cream legbars, and silver penciled Cochin, and a few mixed eggs in mine. Total egg count 24.

I am removing some clears and a blood ring from my ducks. Only the latest day from the ducks were both fertile, but at least they got there eventually. The remaining duck eggs aren't overly active and I didn't lose any eggs last time I incubated ducks. Could the power outage be the issue or more likely something with the eggs?

It was one hour? If so not the power outage. Power has to go out longer to cause them go back into suspended mode. Then the hatch can be delayed but not hurt during the first couple of day.

Too bad.. I was hoping that was it. Lol

This is my first hatch of my own eggs. I guess we'll see how it goes.

Unless an egg is obviously bad, keep it in but watch for ooze and any smell of sulphor.

Sadly the eggs i ordered are coming later than expected so i wont be able to participate, but i am very excited to see what everyone else is hatching!!

You can participate but the eggs won't be counted for contests.

Be sure to enter the contests on the first page that do not require egg entries and definitely enter the cutest baby fowl contest to win a Brinsea mini incubator!
