Lockdown for my eggs Thursday! Not too hopeful because the stupid thermostat stuck on. We will see.

I read the messages about adding shelf paper to the incubator to prevent leg problems. Could someone let me know if this type (in pictures) would be okay? It has rather large holes, it feels rubbery to the touch. Bought it for the kitchen awhile back and it hadn't yet made it out of the package. View attachment 2078831View attachment 2078832

I have used that before with no issues.

Looks like I might get some early hatchers! Set Muscovy eggs 3-8 (Sunday) and it looks like I have some internal pips!

Candled my HAL eggs (day 14 for mine) - The Copper Marans I have left are still growing, had 1 quitter in the Appenzellars (the wax patched egg is still going), and the 2 Bielefelders that I thought were quitters on day 10 were definitely quitters. I also candled the Silkies that I set later (day 7, not HAL) and all 6 of them were doing good.
