yup you see the shiny thin long feathers on the brown one's back? those are saddle feathers that only roosters get( at around 3 to 4 months of age) and both these birds in this picture are roosters

Good to know,thank you! She,well he's the only one that hasnt turned to a snapping turtle, so I'll be keeping him and rehoming the others :/
