Oh thank you guys! I'm happy to hear she is probably a hen--and an Easter Egger to boot. I checked and she doesn't seem to have any of the special tail feathers that speckledhen described. I will keep an eye on her until our butcher date, and if she doesn't show any roo characteristics by then, I guess she is saved. One of the things that tipped us off was that when DH picked her up, instead of shrieking like the rest of the roosters (they are pretty wild) she clucked like a hen. Hmmmm...
