12-week-old Olive Egger Roo confirmation

I vote pullet..... the comb isn't that red and the tail feathers can be misleading at that age. I'd wait to see male hackle and saddle feathers emerging soon before calling cockerel.

This is a BCMxCCL pullet at 12-13wks....look at her tail.

Yeah, I think ere is still a chance of it being a pullet as well. I'm not ready to say so definitely though, so I think if they post pics in a couple weeks, it would give a much better idea.

I will 100% post updated pix in a few weeks.

Thank you to everyone for weighing in! I won’t get my hopes up quite yet...

Hey guys! Just wanted to give an update for anyone who comes to this thread looking for a similar situation with their Olive Egger. Mine did in fact turn out to be a rooster. He's SO handsome. I'm bummed that I won't get that gorgeous olive egg color in my rotation, but curious to see what his offspring will look like. Thanks for all of your input, everyone! Any idea what egg color he might have if he was supposed to be an olive egger hen? Would he carry the genes from an Ameraucana? Thanks all!
