12 week pullet laying?

I currently have 1 pullet and 2 cockerels and I was watering their grazing boxes and I came across what looked like egg shells. It was just a few pieces and they were very thin. I have no idea how since everything I’m reading says they shouldn’t lay until they’r about 4 months and she’s about 11-12 weeks old. I got them as chicks. Anyone have any insight on this? Thank you!

My only guess is that the chicks were somewhat older than you realized??? What is the breed?

When did you get them? Do you have any current pictures of them? Sometimes that might help show if they look older than 12 weeks.

I got them from Hoovers hatchery and they ship them as days old I believe. The cockerels are cream leg bars and ChatGPT says my pullet is a wellsummer?? Lol it’s the brown one

She's a Cinnamon Queen. No she's definitely not laying yet, comb, & wattles are still small, & pale.

Well, she's not a welsummer and her comb isn't red enough to lay. Do you have a picture of the shells?

Cinnamon Queens are great. Good personality, sturdy, reliable and highly productive layers. I currently have one adult and 2 pullets of Cinnamon Queens.
