I’ll pass! Done that drive before. If I’m going to participate, that would mean I have to hit the road at 6am tomorrow. Then hope the mountain passes aren’t bad. Thats a lot of driving for some potluck eggs!

I did lose a hen today Black Maran that laid the biggest eggs and she honked when she talked. Maybe I just have to keep the stock up to replace my layers

Interesting. I get so many different colors from the Isbars, including the pastel color. Dark mint green, light mint green and sky blue.

No complaints! That’s why I suggest her hatching eggs if someone lives close enough to not have eggs be destroyed in shipping.

Not sure if I'll officially join in the hatchalong, but I'm thinking since one of my silkied Black Cochin bantams is laying now that I might set a test hatch to coincide with y'all. I'm not confident that Gus is fertilizing these eggs yet, though, so it's probably best if I stay back here with the spectators and not mess up your numbers for the eggs set / hatched chicks contests.

You can't really mess up the numbers. @casportpony keeps a tally on how many eggs are set and how many hatch. There is no right or wrong number! I hope you'll join in on the fun!

The snow is dry here so no wet mess, and a plow is always at the ready so no fears of snow+ people get snow tires. I was just in Omak for feed, no snow there to speak of.
