If there isn't any development after 7 days then it sounds to me like they weren't fertilized. If you open an egg that has been incubating you can see if anything at all started.
I did that too, but it was from a hen that I did not see get mated...no growth. I decided to replace the eggs. Good thing today is the last day to join the hatch a long! Hope for the best!

Those Easter Egger cheeks are my weakness.
We all have our soft spots! What about beautiful fluffy butts? This Barred Holland girl will have some great chicks pretty soon!

Sad...today is day seven and I see no development in all the eggs. I don’t know what went wrong?! Here are pictures. I see no veins at all, should I replace them?
I pulled 1 of my older eggs out of the incubator today to candle on Day 4 cause it was a bit on the smaller side than the others but I couldn't really tell if there was anything going on in it or not so I cracked it open and found some minor cell development and blood. Kicking myself for not incubating it longer along with the others but at the same time, gotta watch out for those potential bad eggs that may or may not explode :sick
