I did that too, but it was from a hen that I did not see get mated...no growth. I decided to replace the eggs. Good thing today is the last day to join the hatch a long! Hope for the best!
Walk on by.All 3 of my eggs are infertile. I'm not surprised, this happens every year; I should start getting fertile eggs in about a month, when it warms up a bit. In the meantime, those feedstore chicks are singing siren songs to my ears and my wallet.
Those Easter Egger cheeks are my weakness.

I pulled 1 of my older eggs out of the incubator today to candle on Day 4 cause it was a bit on the smaller side than the others but I couldn't really tell if there was anything going on in it or not so I cracked it open and found some minor cell development and blood. Kicking myself for not incubating it longer along with the others but at the same time, gotta watch out for those potential bad eggs that may or may not explode
