First chick is out early!textbook perfect hatching and seems very healthy.

I got my first pipped egg on day 19, day 20 doesn't start until later tonight.

I mark my air cells like that too! It’s pretty amazing to watch them get bigger and bigger. Seems counter intuitive, with the chick growing but also the air space in the growing too, but it’s amazing.

I have a 2nd pipped early, still on day 19. Iam still watching the humidity, so it doesn't drop through the night. No sleep tonight.

I have had great success on my hatch. A lot of early hatching.
I have two that have pipped for 15-16 hours, should I be concerned?

I’ve had them take 24 hours, shouldn’t be too concerned yet!

I mark the air cells so I'll know if I need to adjust the humidity during the incubation. It is amazing to watch the chicks development, it's so exciting every time.

I was doing this hatch for our homeschool co-op. Things were getting rather bleak with so many quitters and 6/7 having hatched by yesterday.

Fortunately for me the last egg got it done! Hatched exactly 45 minutes into a 2 hours meeting. I was super excited for the kids when it started zipping. External pip to zip was only about 5 hours.
