I have been trying so hard not to hatch them now too. I have basically done everything but place them in the incubator. I have marked the eggs, started the incubator, collected the eggs, and added water into the incubator...now we just NEED tommorrow to finally come!!!! Easter chicks...we are ready for you!!!

Did you know a chicken can incubate duck eggs? Any bird (big enough, of course) can.

Yes -- but my broody Orpington is long gone. Starting over, these kids are not the broody type -- at least not yet!
