Actually, he’s sprawled across the daybed, and I’m sitting in his chair. Of course, all of the furniture is his. If I sit on the floor though, you know he’s on the floor. Ahh, beagles.

That's exciting! I'm really sleepy so I'm not positive I'm counting right anymore, lol, but I THINK the last peep from the first round of Polkies just hatched (the non refrigerated eggs). I see about 5 pips in the fridge eggs now and their official hatch day is tomorrow but I expect to be waking up to peeping chicks a lot tonight. Lol
Note to self, you're too old for staggered hatches and two nights without sleep, lol!

Yaaaaaay! And Lol! I'm the exact same way. I hate staggered hatches but it went good in the long run.

I’ve stopped keeping the incubator in my room. I need sleep! Of course, the last time I did it in my room, I was still feeding Duckling in the night. “Peep!” I’m awake. “Waaah!” “Peep!” “Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!” (that one was me)
