Last hatched chick is in the brooder with his/her sibblings now. I had one EE egg left and I candled it.. Looks like it quit about the time lock down began. There's always next time.

Candled last night and found another quitter so now am down to 10 eggs left on days 17-18. Going into lockdown later tonight cause my 18 day olds are rocking and rolling, looking ready to get outta there LOL. Meanwhile, I was just watering my garden and found these babies nesting in my big peach tree pot - Silly Mama Bun Bun...what was she thinking this time :

We’re up to 5 now. 4white silkies. And 1 LF of unknown breed.

This one found / comfy spot to chill.

The only thing different was that I had the incubator on the floor for the first half. Seems like it affected the temperature somehow

Bottom of incubator was probably colder. So while top of egg was good temp wise bottom half may not have been.
