Those pictured are cockerels.
With single combed birds there will be no red what so ever in the comb of pullets before point of lay age. So if all the birds are 12-16 weeks of age any you see with red combs are cockerels. It would be really easy to pick out the pullets at this age simply on comb color.
I'll add to the are they Barred Rock question. Yes, yes they are. The dark wash on Barred Rock legs is on pullets only and can be dusky to dark, the dark not to standard but does occur. The males legs will be light to bright yellow. The bright yellow being the standard. Cuckoo pattern is not as crisp as barred. The barring is clean for hatchery stock and certainly not cuckoo. Marans have white legs and though these legs are pale in photo they are decidedly yellow. No doubt they are hatchery Barred Plymouth Rock cockerels.
