13 Day old chicks outside. 35 degrees this weekend

No problems, got the Mama Heat Pad setup.

every time I see a thread that starts with “are my 11 week chicks ready to go outside yet?” I am so glad that I put them outside from the moment they arrive.

it got down to 31 that weekend. They did great. They are integrated with the hens now since 19 days of age. I am going to lock up the MHP with a new set of chicks coming in June 1 and close the chick doors again, this time with this current batch locked in the hen side.
