13 week Vaulted Silkie

This is my first vaulted silkie and its incredibly hard for me to find any streamers because of the head poof.

I already have 3 roosters and am hoping for a hen especially this one. They're housed with a 10 week barnvelder at the moment and Ive noticed no rooish traits so far. I know its hard to tell for silkies but if anyone has any vaulted ones id appreciate to see your Roos vs Pullets to help.

She’s a cutie, and yup Silkies are really hard (impossible) to get the gender. I have heard there is a DNA test that you can do.

I would be leaning towards pullet for this little one, but again I have not been good at guessing ! You won’t really know until they crow or lay an egg. Good luck!

I hope so, I don't want to rehome especially this one. They're special . my one Roo is 15 weeke old and hasn't crowed, I only knew they were a Roo because of copper leakage on the neck.

So adorable! I don't think red leakage is male specific on black Silkies (I could be wrong), but I think I see streamers.

shes very pretty! yes Boba (blue 15 week silkie) I'm pretty sure is a Roo because of the "mullet" look he has going on. but Beluga (13 week Black in question) has me so conflicted

Here he is! 15 weeks

Here is Wee Marty who has brown neck feathering. She went through an evil molt and came out looking splendid.

But as you can see she has those neck feathers happening.
