A day or two is okay.How long can they stay in the incubator after hatching?
I wouldn't worry too much. Enjoy your trip.I'm sure the 16yo can monitor the incubator for me while on our trip the week before Easter, but we'll be 500 miles away from home on the morning of April 16th.
It is often better to not be around since it keeps one from doing bad intervention things that make the hatch rate lower.A stupid question, perhaps, but I'm only 1 week into my first hatch.
