I live in the EST time zone (it's 8:49* pm right now)
When should I set chicken eggs? I know March 26 but does it matter if I set them in the morning or in the evening?

I slipped a couple duck eggs under a broody Easter Egger on 3/14, due 4/11 so keeping fingers crossed. They'll be a little before Easter if all goes well.

Also of the 17 duck eggs I began incubating on 2/28, 5 are definitely growing, 2 have veins showing but didn't see movement at time of candling on day 14. One egg died early on and other 9 weren't fertilized.

I managed to video 4 of the 7 moving around inside but I don't know how to upload them on here, so I can only upload the photos. Day 14/28, we're halfway there!

I’m going to hatch red bourbon turkey eggs. This will be a first. it’s successful. I’ll also hatch chicken eggs because no good reason except they are so cute.

There's a pretty bad storm going on right now and I know I'm going to lose out on today's eggs because of it.

Not all of them, mind you. Just the ones I needed because they weren't giving me any eggs. I guess on the bright side I'll have plenty of green and blue-green eggs in this hatch.

Standard set time is noon on the 26th for your time zone but anytime that day is acceptable

Incubator is out and cleaned, eggs have arrived!! Now getting everything up and running to check air cells and set!!

Are you setting pea eggs????? Do you set in same incubator as the Muscovy or run separate incubators????
