I candled eggs tonight and the first set of bantam EEs are at Day 10. I pulled the clears and have 6 that still look good. The second set are the d’Anver eggs that are on Day 7 and I originally thought I only had 4 developing, but I had one egg that I thought still showed signs of life so I moved it to one of the inner slots in my NR360, and tonight I saw lots more development! So as of now, I have 5 of these eggs going still. And my last set which is not a part of the EHAL because they only arrived on Saturday look to all be fertile, but still waiting to see the first signs of life! These eggs are rather tough to see into, so may be tough to pull any out. I’m surprised they’re hard to see into, as they’re just bantam buff Brahmas and a light creamy tan color. I’m hoping at least a couple make it!
My teeny porcelain d’Uccles are lonely since I moved their hatch mates outside, so I’m looking forward to giving them some friends soon! I think they will enjoy being the big kids for once haha. They’re only barely 4 weeks old and still so tiny and missing a lot of head feathers to keep them warm. I just couldn’t put them outside yet
They’re too precious!
