Lucky! How many eggs did you set? 6 of mine were clears, and one started to develop but had a blood ring. Luckily 9 are still going strong.

i set 29! hopefully all the rest of yalls hatch!

I attempted a full candling tonight while rotating eggs in the incubator but stopped when I accidentally dropped and broke one all fertile and developing with movement that I have candled

Okay question to the hatch experts! This egg is at Day 7, does it look like it quit? I can’t tell. It looked good yesterday but today I’m not so sure. One of the other eggs was moving all over but not this one —could it be a bit behind? I’m obviously leaving it in, just curious. I try hard not to get my hopes up with shipped eggs! TIA!

Maybe but leave it in longer.

I am worried that my blue eggs are mostly clears.... but the blue shells with the fact that there is too much light in the room with the incubator... means I am not confident.....

Maybe tonight I will be able to see in well enough.


This reminds me why I really prefer white eggs, So easy to see everything!

Oh man, I am so sorry!

I was so upset at the time that I just cleaned up quickly …..but I think it was actually an early quitter because I didn’t clean up anything solid and they are only a weekish from hatch.

My budgies started hatching today so I may get some Easter babies!

Ok... I think that covers the range of my emotions...

An incubator FULL of eggs....FULL.

And... 3 developing chicks. THREE!!!!!!

I had what was it? 21 blue eggs at start and ONE is fertile and growing.....ONE.

Of course... my place looks like this:

So maybe I shouldn't be surprised??? Except it hasn't been all that cold. 20s and even 30s.... so... I AM surprised.
