This is Fluffy. 14 weeks old. Top of pecking order. Lets the other two drink/eat first always. Larger. Tail is beginning to concern me. Transitioning from being very gentle to a little more “sassy” and difficult to deal with. Still a little gentle though? Very nervous when separated from other two, always looking for them. Very red comb, although lighting in pictures don’t really show it too well. Very protective over the other two, as seen in the pics where she is standing over them watching while they look around for bugs and treats in the yard. So, the question: Pullet or Cockerel? Could this just be a Pullet who has assumed the role of flock protector? I’m just very unsure.

They are all so pretty. It looks like a pullet to me.

The thing that was throwing me off was her attempts to crow this past week
Wait and see then. It doesn't happen often, but sometimes pullets crow... one of.my very first 7 chickens, I had a pullet that crowed a few times then never did it again. She went on to act like a normal hen and laid eggs. I named her Dinner.😁
