Then, If you’ve been a cat owner you know the difference between a common alley cat and raising Persian cats which I have also done. Persian cats are harder to raise and I know that from breeding them and selling them.

The same is true for rare bird breeds. Why are people buying them on here?

If people are insulted by the truth again that’s your personality flaw. If you want to call me a troll go ahead I have very thick skin.

I'm actually leaning towards you being a troll (not only because you contradict yourself in your posts, but mainly because of your tone).

Are you that blind that you can't see that you're hurting the cause by bullying newbies?

What do you think you will accomplish? It's not like they can shove the chicks back into the eggs... Not everyone has thick skin, so with the attitude/tone you show, do you think they'll continue asking for help here ? Or will they stop using this forum and forgo on the needed information?

Totally agree, op seems like a troll or someone really butthurt over a (mostly) made up issue.

You're doing the opposite! You're berating those who might have impulsively bought birds, but now have come to their senses and trying to compensate their lack of knowledge. Result; They'll leave without getting the information they came for, and the birds will suffer.

People don't come on this forum and THEN impulsively buy birds... It's the other way around (although most people here haven't bought impulsively)

We need peeps to do 2 things for us to keep it open:

1. Try to have thick-skins. If you don't like something, try your best to just move past it.
2. Only post things that are helpful, friendly, and appropriate. If you break our rules, you may get blocked from this thread, or even blocked from accessing BYC.

A Reminder Of Our Rules:

We require all our members to remain civil, friendly, and respectful in ALL their public interactions. If we notice you are breaking this rule (to which you agreed when signing up for BYC), we'll need to issue a warning and even potentially remove your access to our community.

Also, a reminder on best-practices:

1. Again, if you see something that bothers you, try to have a thick skin and move past it. Definitely don't quote it and/or reply.
2. If a post breaks our rules, report it. Definitely don't quote it and/or reply.
3. Be friendly and supportive. Avoid posts, etc., that will cause contention. Our team will determine, at our discretion, what we feel is and isn't appropriate, so it's best to err on the side of caution and stay away from anything that might be interpreted as contentious, trolling, or otherwise breaking our rules.

Our AMAZING team is putting in a LOT of time and effort to keep things running smoothly. Please help make their jobs easier! (because at some point, the amount of work to keep this open won't be worth the time / stress to our incredible moderators).
