I would go with that powdered calcium for Rose. Maybe, back off the full dose a tad, as 500 mg seems a bit much.

@Blooie, "smart" is relative. What's really important is what @abcn123s pointed out earlier in the thread, together, here on BYC we have the experience and brain cells where a solution to a problem can come together. I'm so glad you haven't stayed away after selling the chicken farm.

It's a powder already, but I could make it work. I just don't know about the increase of Vitamin c and Magnesium.

Hmmm...wonder how that might have an affect?
I thought the additional Vit-D3 was pretty important for the absorption of the calcium?

I cut up the tabs into small pieces and before too long she will gobble them up right out of my hand. 1 tab cut into 6-8 pieces about 1/8"-3/26"...you lose a bit if it crushes instead of cuts, use a sharp blade.
