So this EE has a very female behind but the neck is always drawing my attention.

Are these hackle feathers??

Her neck is unlike any others.
They are rounded at the tips of many but show thinner pointed edges up. When she shakes her head are flares they are very pointed.

I see what's causing your concern! :barnie

I however agree with the assessment of pullet.. :wee

Noting the saddles are rounded. I would expect to see at least SOME pointy saddle development by the stated age even in late blooming cockerels.

Despite bearding gene inhibiting wattles size.. her comb and wattle size and color also indicate female for the stated age, according to my experience.

I'm glad the chickens can still keep us on our toes now and then by throwing these hard to discern clues! :pop

She would throw some lovely blue babies, given the chance!

Wow she is beautiful!

Ok I will stop worrying. :thumbsup
I think it might be the color pattern on the feathers confusing you. The pattern looks pointed but the actual feathers look rounded to me. I had a hen that looked just like her ❤️
