We put a towl over the incubator. When power came back it was at 78f and humidity was 80.

Power was out from about 6:30/7pm to 5:30am. We shall see in the next few days what impact its had. They were on day 6.

If it's any comfort, I lost power for three days last year and the eggs made it through just fine.

And then my incubator malfunctioned at lockdown and fried them all!!!!!

Day 10 and the eggs are still going strong! Candled today and saw lot's of movement in embryos! The one I wasn't sure about a few days ago was an early quitter, so I now have 19 doing well!

Woohoo! I candled today too! It's day 5 for me, and I also just had one early quitter so far.

I just set 32 eggs on Thursday 3/14! 12 jubilee orpingtons, 6 marans, 6 Olive eggers, 3 BLR Wyandottes, 2 lav orpingtons and 4 extras that the seller sent! This is my first hatch in 6 years so I feel like it's the first time again I've had some weird temp issues (dropped down to 95° then swung up to 101.7°) so we'll see how they hatch.

What an exciting mix! I hope the BLR Wyandottes do well Im a big softie for them. And who doesn't love mystery eggs
