Totally forgot to update...incubator A is on day 12, pulled 1 clear and 1 quitter (lavender and wheaten ameraucanas and silkied cochin bantams) Incubator B is on day 7 (isabel ameraucanas, all look good)

I'll check once more at lockdown I'm hatching bantams so I decided to put them in lockdown on day 17. I usually check on day 14 too, but since it's not too many days in between Im going to wait the extra bit before pulling out any other quitters.

To be honest I usually candle a lot at the start because I can't help myself lol. But I figure I should try to leave them alone now.

If anyone has advice on the best days to candle/ how long it's safe to leave them without checking, please chime in! This is only my 4th incubator hatch!

I do day 7 and 14 and at lockdown. But it's hard to see on most of my eggs because they are blue.

I'm going to candle mine tomorrow. Anxious to know about the silkies and Easter Eggers.

I candled my incubator eggs last night and tossed 4. That leaves me with 16!
Alice kicked 2 of hers out of the nest today. The eggs she has left should hatch on Sunday or Monday!!!!

I have 1 single Americauna egg in my incubator! It was given to me by a friend along with an assortment of other random brown eggs he had gathered the day I went to visit! I am really hoping that one makes it!

I haven’t said much since I said I was doing the hatch, so here is my official list of bantam eggs for Easter!

2 project Watermaals (black and cuckoo)
3 project cuckoo/Lav cuckoo Ameraucana
1 blue/splash Ameraucana
4 wheaten Ameraucana
3 black d’Anvers
7 black Ameraucanas
7 from my mottled split to lavender, white, and black d’Anver pen
3 modern game bantams
1 quail/blue quail watermaal egg
3 bobtails
6 bantam EEs

So far I’ve only pulled the project watermaals—they were clear
