16 Appleyard Ducks in My Brooder

Are appleyards good for eggs? I have muscovies, and love them, but I guess they only lay during the summer. I'm not liking the idea of creating pens for the ducks, I like letting them free range and not have to worry about interbreeding, but . . .

They are good for meat and egg. I got them for mostly for growing out for meat and saving a few for breeding.
