Show chest feathers. That is the first area male black feathers show up

Ya watch the breast area. Mostly black will be male. Mostly reddish will be female. Should know around 3 or 4 weeks old.

With that coloring more or likely a little cockerel. My Sulmtaler can be sexed when they are about 2 weeks old with the same method. The hens stay light, the roosters get black feathers.

Agreed. Update pics when they’re that age of their chest and it should be more obvious.

I got them from a breeder in chatsworth ga shes called snobby silkies and faverolles.

With them being sex linked any black is supposed to mean cockrel since pullets are only salmon no black from my understanding?

Yes, however poorly marked pullets can have black on them too, depending on where you got them. I had a pullet who was checkered over her chest
