Take it out now. Get rid of it.Day 3 candling of Brahma eggs showed no development. I do not have a good feeling about these eggs. I don't think Egg Man's lame rooster is breeding.
One of the Brahma eggs is growing a little dark in the whole egg.. Kinda dark orangish??? And it is starting to produce a slight rotten egg smell. Not good. I will leave it until day 7 I think. If it smells worse, grows darker, or does not develop I will pull it.
I also discovered that one of the Brahma eggs is cracked. I have no idea how that happened. I patched it and that's all I can do.
I will now only touch them to turn them 3x a day. I will candle again on day 10, next Saturday. My gut is telling me that none of these eggs are fertile.
I'm hesitant to do that because there are only 12 eggs. And it's only day 3.Take it out now. Get rid of it.
If it is turning colors and smells...get rid of it.I'm hesitant to do that because there are only 12 eggs. And it's only day 3.
Give me a moment and I'll take a picture for you. It's not turning black. It's just that the whole of the egg is a dark yolkish color that the others don't have.If it is turning colors and smells...get rid of it.
You can always get more eggs. You have egg man on speed dial.
I also forgot to mention that the air sac on this is partially moving(?) like detached or something. Idk the word. The air sac isn't normal, that's what I'm trying to say.Give me a moment and I'll take a picture for you. It's not turning black. Looks fine from here.View attachment 1424129
The camera isn't helping. The egg is darker than this in person.
