16 eggs, 3 species, 1 homemade incubator: Will it be done?

:fl:fl:fl Broodies are amazing!
I have been praying up and down for a broody hen for 3 years.
I am not allowed to get more birds so I have never gotten some of the breeds that are more likely to go broody.
Not sure yet what egg I'll give her if she commits. I'll cross that road when I get to it.

I do need Legbars, actually. Even better is the fact that my dad wants more eggs and I have customers already lined up to take extra roosters.

Perfect!!! I also had very good luck with selling my extra males. Benefits of a breed that are both popular, rare (in my area at least) and auto sexing :thumbsup I know you mentioned before you were looking into sources for legbar hatching eggs. Any luck?

No luck yet :( Legbars are rare here. There aren't any certified breeders within two hours.

Darn! I am sorry. Just out of curiosity, can I ask what you mean by certified?
Certified is the wrong word. I meant something along the lines of being trustworthy? As in they actually have purebreds and they keep their birds healthy.
I'm not sure there is a word for that but that is what I meant.

That makes perfect sense! I don't know what you would call it either but I know exactly what you mean. And definitely worth seeking out someone that meets that description.
