Her current dish looks like it is easy for her to escape.
I am thinking a higher side cup or something similar will force her to stay still longer but I am not sure if that is the correct thing to do or not. :confused:

Thats what i did for a chick with a not fully absorbed yolk...worked fine
 
does pea comb x straight make pea comb chicks?
I know you didn't ask me, but the answer is yes. Single comb is recessive. Pea comb is dominant. However, chicks with one pea comb gene usually have pea combs that aren't as well formed as a pure pea comb.
 
She is going to reside in the scouts cup for now unless someone says she should be in something different. How long should she stay in the incubator to absorb more of her yolk?
I would wait until she is fluffy and walking well. Taking her out while wet can lead to chilling the chick. And if she can't walk well, she can't regulate temperature.
