16 week hen passed away! Why?

I have a 16 week old hen not laying yet that just up and died. No injuries or mites but I did notice that her crop was empty. She was acting completely fine before she passed. Why did this happen?

No poison around or snakes. I didn’t take a picture of her but she was on her back and still warm with a empty crop.

It was with more chicken? sometimes roosters or older hens can be a little brutal. It only takes a well directed hit in the head and, bang.

She wasn’t purple.

It was with more chicken? sometimes roosters or older hens can be a little brutal. It only takes a well directed hit in the head and, bang.

She is with 5 other hens her age and some older hens. She was smaller than the other 16 week old hens.

There's something called Sudden Hen Death Syndrome, a phenomenon that's been occurring recently. I think it may happen too pullets also.
