Got a second egg today, perfect shape and she laid it in the nest box with the fake eggs. Yay. However, it’s super small, do they get bigger with age? I compared it to a store bought large egg.

That is common for an early egg and is called a "pullet egg". They will get bigger. Let your girl know you are proud of her. Congrats!

Thank you! I congratulated all of them and gave special treats (as I’m not sure who laid it ) Is it recommended to eat the first few eggs? Or wait until they’re “perfect?”

The egg should be perfectly fine. I was hesitant to eat my first couple of eggs as well, but they are just eggs.
