17 Week Pic's

Are you sure? I have 2 barred rocks and the Mr. Spec's comb and wattles are really red compared to everyone else. I'm new to chickens so I thought he was a rooster. And no - he/she is not crowing. Well I'm glad you spoke out because I've been wondering why he/she hasn't crowed now I know the answer. If any of my chickens were roosters they would be crowing by now - wouldn't they?? I have 2 americauna's that I'm not for sure about either - but no one crows!!!

Haha, yeah, Mr. Speckles looks like a pullet to me. Her comb is probally redder because she will probally end up laying first. A real Mr. Speckles would have a much larger red comb and rooster feathers by now.

Your babies are soooo beautiful!

My babies are going to be 5 weeks old tomorrow. They are mostly feathered out and looking pretty but they don't have that bigger looking size yet. I can't wait. I don't want them to grow up too fast but I want to see what they will look like when they do grow up.
