Help? My newly legal chickens have been confined to a coop inside a garage for a few months while I've jumped through hurdles to keep them. The 18 month old brahma seems fine except for that she is losing feathers and has diarrhea.
The other three chickens seem fine. I noticed the feathers dropping a couple days ago and today saw that they are from the vent region and that she had a very unusual stool...are they necessarily related? Could the diarrahea be from the rice I gave them? or other food? and why would only one of the four chickens be dropping feathers like this?
I'd like to treat her myself if that's possible.
