18 week old Blue Ameraucana, thought hen ... ?rooster

Hen!!!!! I'm GUNNA xplain what I check for ... keep me informed I have three two are obviously chickies but I have a rooster I think too but only thing that makes me think it is a hen is the hackle they are rounded but yes pointy but not as much as it should be in upper neck they usually will fluff and then u can tell but they do look spikey but it's feathers n wings scream hen ..I see the uneven rounded feathers but wing check is almost a definite way to determine but small chance it could be mistaken but my gut says pretty girl and the uneven feathers on the wings I can see even in regular posture..I'm a newbie I could be wrong but I've done some research on them and mine are a month n a few days and I can already tell . Will the bird let u pull wing out to check difference in lengts of feathers? Roosters are even and not pointy like upper neck but more even could be rounded slot...but hens are are rounded too and different lengths the hackle on my hens is not as pointy in their upper neck but I'm suspicious of one of mine cuz I'm thinking mines a cockeral rooster but only a month n a few days old so I'm probably wrong but gut says no I'm right.. yes urs very well may be a girl cuz hackle feathers on americauna are kinda pointy even rounded but def. Difference on two and the one of mine I'm suspicious of? Hoping it's a stud lol
The chicken in question is 8 years old now so I'm gonna go out on a limb and say they've figured it out on this one by now lol.

I'm struggling with some of my chicks now!
One with a pea comb that I think is an Ameraucana, started out with chipmunk stripes down the back.
Pics are 1 week and now at 5 weeks

Hey u seem to be a veteran at this and I apologize if I'm bugging u.... Have a question..I was going to start a thread but I unknowingly responded to this one I think but I've seen u on here and if u can't help it's ok I..think I know but I could be wrong.. I bought three americanos from Tractor Supply well it turns out I'm looking up their color patterns and one of them looks like a partridge so I put in Partridge and sure enough Easter Eggers came up now they'll have real eggs so I did a little research yesterday and found out that they are Easter Eggers and not americanos I want to know if the brown one that looks like a partridge looks like a Cockerel to me he's smaller than the other two I suspect bantam in him but here is a pic between the two.. The other is opposite colors and darker but hackles are same but one displays rooster behavior that I suspect it's a pullet please help.. I don't want to get too attached I'm already really attached as their 6 weeks old and they are hand friendly hand tamed and will sit in your lap and fall asleep so I'd like to know if he's a rooster n if darker one looks hen? Hackle is diff and they are all eggers not americauna so the dark head green light head roo doesn't apply I assumed correct me if I'm wrong but here's one of my lavenderish and Partridge and the brown I suspect at six wks is a rooster? The others have is sharp but blunter and the feathers are easily picked out where the partridge one has needle spikey hackle but one of the three that I suspect it's pullet( looks exact except opposite colors kinda but hackle is same but if she is a hen she's dominant for sure...

I would recommend starting a separate thread and getting clear pictures of them close up with their face prominent to see their comb as well as more body shots. I see some slight red leakage on the black one but nothing concerning really on either one from this picture. That being said 6 weeks is too early to see any sex specific feathering like hackles or saddle feathers. The biggest thing to watch for in Easter eggers is usually the redness and size of comb and also red shoulders/wings but not always as some colors have that as well. So far they both look like pullets from this picture to me but it's a little early to tell and not the clearest picture.

: 477708"]agreed, if you're not sure, post in a new thread, but these are more than likely pullets.[/QUOTE]
U don't think the Partridge colored one the brown is a cock? Hackle so sharp n needly vs the other two i suspect are pullets have blunter hackle and feathers are more rounded.. I'll post new thread tho cuz I'll get all 3 then maybe it'll be plain as nose in my face lol.. Love this chickening thing... They make me laugh n our birds are enjoying the resort....

start a new thread... include pics of the face and comb specifically, mention the age...

So I guess pullet huh lol.. Did post but indefinite answers but I'm having a blast here...new behavior noticed about partridge (named "my suspect") trying to Mount the hens but not sure what it's doing lol.. But another EE did it yesterday..dunno what to do with all these feelings I guess or dunno what they are. lmao..ugh they slay me ...my little raptors stolen straight from Jurassic Park ... Lol
Have a comet and she's chicken rolling n cooling off but kept adjusting sumthing under her so I walk over n move her and no joke there under her I thought was an egg for a split second (she was only five wks) but my guy planted baby onions n it was whitish n sorta shaped like an egg...gawd I'm loving chickening in the holler up here in Maine
