My one Silkie started laying right around 7.5 months. The other one (same age) still hasn’t!

They are lightly tinted. The camera doesn’t capture the color well but it’s a light tan with a bit of a pinkish hue. They’re really pretty, look like creamy porcelain! Thanks! I think you are in luck! She sure looks like a pullet to me!What color are the eggs from the laying pullet? I heard silkies lay pinkish or tinted eggs! So excited for you though! Wow! That's a decent size egg too: I really hope you'd add to that collection soon with the other silkies! Thank you for the positivity my friendThey are lightly tinted. Hi guys, I've waited SO long to ask this question again as (like you've all said) sexing silkies- especially breeder quality silkies- are notoriously difficult. Can you guys help me out now that s/he has feathered out more?

Thanks for the tag, @EmmaRainboe and @kurby22.Do you know when silkies generally lay eggs or crow? I used to have a serama rooster growing up with my flock that was the same age as her, but she was always top bird. He crowed and she didn't, BUT they used to fight a lot around week 13. Unfortunately I got rid of my little rooster due to city ordinances but my silkie has never crowed despite his removal.
