19 and a half weeks old and still no eggs :( egg countdown anyone??

My pullets are almost 23 weeks old now. I am getting eggs from 4 of them (there are 12 pullets total, then I have a rooster and 2 older hens.) One of the old hens is also laying every day so I'm getting 3-5 eggs per day. So that's still a whole lotta pullets not laying any eggs at 23 weeks.....the others may not start for another couple weeks to a month or more.

I am just thrilled that I'm getting a blue, green, white, and brown egg. I like the variety!

These were yesterday's eggs.

My girls are 18 weeks old today. Someone gave me a beautiful brown egg on Saturday in the run. Yesterday I got another prize in the coop. Today my fingers are crossed that I'll get one in a nest box. I can't be sure who my big girl is, but one of my Isa Browns, Mert, has been in and out of the nest boxes, and a little clingy lately. I have 5 hens, 3 Isa Browns and 2 Black Sex-links. Only one is laying so far...I think.

Pretty eggs RaeRae2! I'm getting blue from my Xena and white from Daisy right now, they are so cute! I drained a couple to save as christmas ornaments, but now I'm thinking of doing a few more as ornament gifts! LOL, and everyone will remember crazy chicken lady! Still waiting on brawn eggs fro the RIR and BR

I have three 20 week-old (I think?) hens that were hatched on March 9. There is a barred rock, a partridge cochin, and an Easter egger. I, also, am waiting (not so patiently) for eggs. When should I expect eggs??? They eat Flock Raiser, Scratch, and Layer.
Waiting for eggs is so, so...um, HARD!!!!!

This is my first time raising chickens since I was a kid 30+ years ago but from what I've been reading we should start getting eggs soon! 24 weeks is average I think for heritage breeds, but I really hope my 19wk barred rocks are earlier. Good luck - hope it's soon!
