I have 3 RIR, 2 dominiques, 2 EE, that are 20 weeks and a couple other younger hens. Every day I have checked for eggs and never found one. HOWEVER, today I went and checked and I had not 1, not 2, but 7 YES I said 7 eggs!!! AHHHHHH, 6 brown and one beautiful blue one!!!! Such a great day, can't wait to see what I have tomorrow!!

I bet you got less than three weeks tops to go!!!! hang in there you might get lucky and get early birds, mine were 17wks 6 days for a few first weird eggs but it was 18-19 weeks before they started getting regular(i have golden SL's) the RIR'S and AMBER'S are a bit younger and slower but from August 4th and that first egg, we've gotten 63 eggs!!!!! mostly outta three hens...... three more are just starting at 21 weeks
