Thank you for the tag! Unfortunately, I just hatched 26 chicks and had an order from Meyers a couple weeks ago, sold 16, still have 3 left to sell, and 9 I'm growing out, and have a broody on eggs No more babies right now

So would the white chicks I called white sussex be SLW cockerels?

Gold sex link cockerels not SLW..

And some of the orange-browns be SLW pullets?

Some will be gold sex links pullets from the buckeye cross.. none will be pure for SLW since you don't have a Wyandotte rooster.

It's fun to try and work those things out when possible. But sorry for the confusion.. I realized there are probably way more things at play than I was originally considering.. like the SS and my own very limited genetics understanding..

Father of all is a Buckeye rooster. Mothers could be Buckeye, Speckled Sussex, Silver Laced Wyandotte and/or Black Copper Maran.

Chicks are $3 each and minimum of 3 chicks recommended.
