I have 2 white silkies 19 weeks old and STILL have no clue what they are.
If either of them was a rooster, wouldn't it have crowed by now, or at least tried to crow?

I have 3 buff silkies 10 weeks old in the house, and I heard one of them trying to crow a few weeks ago.

#1 is bigger,(could be a week older), but #2 has a bigger comb.
I got them at a month old and #2 would lower its head, spread its wings and walk toward your hand like he was going to attack.
After #2 got used to us, he/she stopped doing that and hasn't done it since.

My girls have no combs at all...so I am going to say that they're both boys???

I love the little game bird in the middle

I REFUSE TO HEAR WHAT YOU'RE SAYING PINENOT

As for the gamebird, he's a brown red oegb, and he's a real sweetheart. He's the only one in there that will crow and there is at least 1 more roo besides him.

That oegb is so darn cute, I could snatch him up

look for the streamers off the back of the head...just like pinenot is showing on her roos. I had three silkies and thought I had hens....

No one crowed and it seemed for sure I had hens. Turned out they were afraid to crow or something back then. Now I have one hen and the other two turned out to be roos. I got rid of one roo and kept the other. Streamers are the for sure give away when they are not crowing. They had to be six months when they first crowed..I tell you it will make you laugh out loud when they first try. You feel like you need to run and get them a cough drop.
