19 week old silkies.....UPDATE p 3

Yippie, first egg!
I'm going thru the guessing game with my silkies too. One, I swear is a roo. He has a good size comb and it turned berry color right away, and he acts like a roo. One has a comb but its small and black and still hasn't turned red. Number 3 has no comb, and is the runt. I don't see any streamers. Number 2 squats when I pet her, but she's only 12 weeks old. Silkies seem to carry conflicting signs that are not the same in each silkie. Will have to wait.

I moved those two silkies along with 6 other bantams outside in January. I didn't want the cold to kill them so I put a couple of heat lamps out there so they could adjust to the temp difference.
But whatever has contributed to laying, I'm just so happy to finally know what one of them is!

I'm suprised, even tho they both had combs, they both layed eggs. I'm happy for you.
