19 week old silkies.....UPDATE p 3

Thanks ya'll for all your help.

I don't see any obvious streamers, maybe another month will tell.
I've always thought #2 was a roo, he's always had a bigger comb than the other one.
#1's comb is not really as big as it looks in the pics, you can only see a little of it looking straight on at it.

I am learning now why these #*^%& blessed silkies are considered EVIL.
They lure you in with all that fluffy cuteness, then torture you for months and months.

And Pinenot, your silkies are just gorgeous!

Thank you! They're my 11 year old daughters. She will be showing them in April and several other shows through out the year. She has 2 Partridge and 4 white, 1 week old chicks from a different breeder. We are hopeing to breed them for her future.

Hopefully you have one of each. They're very evil....they make you snuggle...that is all it takes!!!

I think they both look delicious.

My roos crowed early, 14 weeks or so and attacked feet.

My hen is much calmer and very whiny. We have a young Buff Silkie
we are still unsure of. It beats the heck outa standards twice it's size.

I've got 3 buffs (sassysilkies) about 10 - 12 weeks and I'm almost sure it's 1 roo, 2 pullets......the crazy roo has already tried crowing and he stands taller than the other 2, and has a bigger comb. I can hardly see eyes on the other 2, and definitely no combs yet.

I'm just guessing that's the difference in the quality between the whites and buffs.

And PC,

Step away from my silkies!

I really like the way you're talking Kentucky,

BUT,

If they don't start to giving me some signs one way or another, I might have to try PC's method, I may even have to ask for the "much worse" solution.

Well Tom,...at least whole your drunk making pancakes and thinking of putting them in the microwave, your mind will be off what sex these birds are?
