19 weeks, 2 days... 0 nesting box interest. Normal?

I'm a newbie so take my 2 cents for what it is. I agree with the above comments that they will lay when they are ready ...kinda like a watched pot never boiling. I did exactly what you are "counting my eggs before they were laid" ..I know it not much comfort after all the work you have put into raising them but it WILL happen when you least expect it. My only real words of wisdom would be to check your run(s) for eggs they may be playing hide the egg(s) on you lol

Yeah... I have been checking likely hiding spots, and gently turning all the litter every other day in coop.

Our second girl to lay hid 3 before she figured out the coop was for her and to this day doesn't use a nest box..she lays her brown egg next to a fake white one in the corner of the coop close to the nest boxes.

Well, i hope not too many of mine play sneaky long term. I have a few spots from which to retrieve that will be a major PITA if on a regular basis.

They catch on pretty fast...when the first 1 or 2 lay everyone seems to fall in line ...hopefully you don't have one go broody...that REALLY gets everyone's feathers in a bunch 😆

Already have more than we intended to. Received SIX extra with an order of fifteen. If only 3 or 4 feel like being a pain, they better hope they're one of my favorites! ;-)

Been a while since I checked to make sure they are all going in at night. They are!

Ample roosting space it as appears. 32 feet and they are using maybe 12 of it. Haha! Better to much than not enough. If there's one thing I can't blame eggs on (not that they are by any means late), it's them being fussy with each other. They all still seem to be getting along great. There's one EE who's not comfortable joining the flock for treats, and she likes to be on the edge of a group most of time.
